Originally Panache only offered custom-fitted coats, measuring each and every dog for which we were making a coat. Custom tailoring was our hallmark. As we grew, we learned that many different breeds had measurements so alike that we could and did develop a Ready-to-Wear line of coats that would fit the majority of dog breeds

Standard, even sizes from 8 and 30 inches (top line), make Ready-to-Wear ideal for many dogs with no special fitting requirements. Place your order using the Ready-to-Wear Order Form button found on each catalog page.

Alternatively, if you dog is a breed that needs special tailoring or if you prefer the perfection of a custom fit, no matter what you dog's shape or size, use the Custom Fitting form to send us your pet's exact measurements enabling us to quote you for a coat hand-tailored to fit your dog. Obviously many breeds need this special attention... dogs with arched backs (Greyhounds, Whippets, Salukis and Italian Greyhounds) - dogs with large necks or heads (Pugs, Bulldogs, Rottweilers or Staffordshires) - dogs with long bodies (Dachsunds, Bassetts and Corgis) are but a few examples of breeds with special fitting requirements.

For a dog with an erect tail carriage, such as a Poodle or most of the Terriers, we build in a "V-cut" to allow the tail to stand up while the coat still covers the hindquarters. For dogs who carry their tails low, we extend the topline of the coat in a drop-off over the tail set.
